Mum please keep me safe and warm,
Smother me with all your love,
And help me to form.
I woke up today and there was a gift for me,
It was a pair of pearly eyes so that I can see.
I have got my arms and my little button nose,
And at the end of my feet are my perfectly formed toes.
I'm looking forward to life,
Big hugs from you and looking at those tiny bugs.
Where are you going today?
Travelling far away.
Why are you on a bed with wheels?
It's so strange how funny this feels.
Running into doors
I wonder how strange this seems
If they hurt you Mum please, please scream
Don't sleep now Mum, please lets go home.
What's happening now I begin to cry,
Run, Run Mum, I don't want to die.
Oh Mum they're pulling me apart,
My legs, my arms and now my heart.
Bye, Bye,
Now I won't hear the birds singing in the trees,
Or feel my skin go cold from a cool summer breeze.
Mum I forgive you for what you have done,
I hope that soon they give abortion the gun,
Little innocent babies just want to live,
And lets hope that some day that's what we'll want to give.
So if you get pregnant,
Please think of your baby,
And give them a chance at life
Don't go running to the knife.
