The Place In The World

I would most like,
To spend my life,
In a place called Dozyland.
It never is,
Too far away,
Always close at hand.
When I frequent,
This pleasant place,
Outside seems such a bore.
So when time comes,
For me to leave,
I beg to stay some more.
No matter how much I moan and groan,
And plead and rant and rave,
There’s no affect for I always hear:
"Get up and do behave!"
When I’m finally,
Torn away,
From my eternal bliss,
I calm myself,
With a pleasant thought,
That goes a little like this:
"No matter when or where I am,
It’s always close at hand,
All I do is rest my head,
And I’m back in Dozyland"
As a matter of fact,
I feel, right now,
Like paying it a visit,
So pardon me for, say…,
A few sec’s, no say…,
Some sleepy minutes.
